i presumed that it was because they’ve setup a life for themselves as well since that’s usually what happens when you immigrate; but they did it under duress; against their will; and now live in somewhere with a different culture & language so i was wondering if that made them ever want to go back.

if trump gets his way, i will likely end up living in the country my parents immigrated from and the prospect excites me since i know what it’s like over there through my experiences and my legal status in both countries guarantees that i can return after & if the united states ever decides de-fascize. my experiences also teach me that i will fit-in less socially over there than i do over here, so i will never have those children and grandchildren to anchor me there and i think that guarantees that i will try to return at least once; i was wondering if any of those fighters were anything like me since the person i met and told me about the fighters is very much like me.
