    Doesn’t it depend entirely on the type of game?

    The more immersion, the longer I want to spend in the game world and that means I want reasons to be there. Missions, goals, achievements, collectibles, new stories and characters, Easter eggs… Imagine a new story DLC for RDR. I would clamor for it

      Not for me. I have a job and kids and there are other games I want to play. A game needs to be manageable.

      There can be fluff to skip or it can be open world where I don’t care if I don’t finish it. But the longer the game is, the more likely I am to just not pick it up.
