    They waited while Russia and the US tried to control Afghanistan and lost. I suppose we’ll see if china will fare better.

      They’re not trying to invade. Just offering to trade, so the Taliban doesn’t have to be afraid about losing control.

      Probably a better idea to invade, spend a trillion dollars occupying it for 20 years and then leave, having accomplished nothing.
