It’s another bullshit ancient law that conservatives like to pull like a rabbit out of a hat to throw up in people’s faces and use against them.

We really need to dump like half of laws from before 1900, after thorough review. Too many of them don’t really apply anymore, and it literally enables bullshit like this.

Makes sense that someone as ancient as him should reference old laws like this … classic conservatives reaching for the past and never wanting to embrace the future
