I don’t understand how this move is going to earn Kamela Harris more voters.

This is not a IQ test or mental health evaluation, which make me ask, what is the relevance of this to the US elections?

This is a reasonable question. This is politics - the Harris campaign are putting pressure on Trump to do the same. Harris has a clear bill of health yet Trump is nearly 80 and rambling in his speeches.

The Harris move puts pressure on Trump to do the same. If he doesn’t it makes him look like he has something to hide, and regardless it draws attention to his health and mental state for voters.

So it’s not “weird” - it’s political strategy and game playing that both sides are doing all the time.

Do you remember how much the media talked about Biden’s age. Weird they don’t look at doddery, confused Donald in the same way. This hopes to put that back on the agenda.

Also, people tend not to want to vote for one person only for another person to end up doing the job, especially not some (alleged but not denied) couch fucker

They’re trying to push Trump into doing the same and saying in a roundabout way that he’s too old/unhealthy for office.

Probably a bad move because it will just remind the public about Biden and all that shit that was going on a few months ago.

So one side realizing that their candidate is unfit, and acting on it, is bad. The other side, ignoring it, and continuing as if everything was fine, is good?

Biden was very insistent that he was fine, when he was very clearly not fine. It took a shitton of internal pressure to get him to step down.

It’s just not a good look and makes them look a little hypocritical, there’s so many other worthwhile things to attack him on.

“We did our job. Now it’s your turn, Republicans” might be the message.

You think Trump would just roll over and accept his party telling him he is unfit? Or even telling him that he is wrong?
