It likely violates the First Amendment. It’s entirely possible the Supreme Court would make a unanimous decision on this one.
This isn’t the first time the Logan Act has been brought up in regards to Trump, and I wish the media would stop. Of all the Not Happening of Trump crimes, this is the most Not Happening.
Maybe in four more years he can sorta be put on trial for it.

I know this will be one of the defenses for it, but this really is not a first amendment issue, it’s a national security issue.
