I don’t disagree. I used to remove the DRM of games I bought on disc way back when, just so that I didn’t have to insert those discs into my PC any time I wanted to play.
i spend last 10ish years paying like a good little removed for this clown ass regime but recently i woke up. and now i don’t pay for anything unless they deliver it i how i like it (for discretionary spending)

i am fan but not a proper user… i am a steam slave for now due library and proton.
but steam is gonna turn to shit the day gabe owner dies so gonna need to make that move eventually.
Try using GoG through the Heroic Games Launcher and Proton-GE. It works really really good.
