Some say older pixels (4 or 5) have longer battery life and no (or minimal?) overheat issues when compared to Tensor chip devices. Is this true?

I haven’t tried any pixels yet and I’m planning to buy one even if its one of the old Snapdragon phones if that is recommended. I plan to use the device for long duration of video recording. So something with good camera and doesn’t overheat.

Yeah totally understand about battery life. I think I’d choose an older pixel only if its really cheap and just serve as a backup. How’s your 9 doing btw?

The 8 pro is going well so far, barring the weird touch issues at the very corner edges of the screen. Haven’t had any other problems with it.

Husband just bought a 9 pro, but it’s too early to tell, honestly. He seems to like it quite a lot though.
