The new tranche will include an additional Patriot air defense battery, unmanned aerial systems, and air-to-ground munitions, as well as funds to strengthen Ukraine’s defense industrial base and support its maintenance and sustainment requirements.

Washington will also provide Kyiv with the Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW) munition “to enhance Ukraine’s long-range strike capabilities,” Biden said.

The U.S. president also announced the expansion of training for Ukrainian F-16 pilots by supporting the training of an additional 18 next year.

That is just so much stuff. I get it and im not against it but far out I can’t imagine what $8 billion of military things on a battlefield looks like. And all the support they’re probably providing in training and information to help along with it. Russian leaders must get a deep sinking feeling every time something like this is announced

Some types of ammo can get expensive. For example, the Patriot surface-to-air defense system fires missiles that cost 2-4 million Dollars each, while Russia launches some 4k missiles and 2k drones per year at ukrainian cities.
