I will just try my best in an attempt to create an introduction; I’m an absolute Lemmy newbie, so please, bear with me and cut me some slack if things are done differently here.

I’ve just created my profile and filled it with some info; as this post’s link I’ll point to my latest six singles. But I want to assure you that I do not want to talk about just my music, quite the opposite—I love to share all kinds of music from all around the world and the past eight decades.

Ah, apparently we don’t use #hashtags here?

    I’d say this is the best way I’ve seen to introduce yourself on Lemmy. 🙂

    And I don’t think #hashtags are as important as in Mastodon, where text search is not implemented by design.

      Thanks for getting back & the encouraging words :) I gathered that hashtags are rarely used, and while I think they’re helpful to categorise what one’s writing, too, I will get used to it I’m sure.
