I was always wondering this. Imagine a steep descent. What is better for brake wear - braking constantly or more powerful just at the end? Anybody knows? Goes for both rim and disc brakes

@RiderExMachina @Mihies this is true up to a point, but brakes get less efficient at high temperatures. so if you drag them all the way down a mountain you’ll cause more wear than if you brake hard into the corners and roll the straights.
