    10 yr / 1,000,000 km = 621,371 mile warranty. Damn.

0-60% charging in 12 minutes means it can virtually continue operations indefinitely (until break-fix/maintenance is required).

In 2023, CATL received the equivalent of US$790 million in state subsidies.

In December 2023, Duke Energy disconnected CATL batteries from Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune due to security concerns.

In June 2024, a group of U.S. lawmakers asked the United States Department of Homeland Security to add CATL to an import ban list under the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act.

The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 prohibited US defense funding for CATL products.

Just because a company does something good doesn’t mean the company is good, no matter how beneficial the batteries are it’s important to know how they were made and if the company (aka CCP) is in good faith, or just that they know that oil’s days are numbered and want to get a head start on the new monopoly.
