    It’s good to see more competition in the semiconductor space.

      Not sure how competitive they will be.

      A quick search doesn’t reveal any independent benchmarks (I don’t speak Chinese though), and data provided by Biren itself isn’t particularly exciting.

      There is also a matter of incentives and shielding from competitive pressure due to state mandate.

        they are very new. give them a few years and all that will be there.

          May they will, maybe they won’t. We will find out.

          But lack of independent benchmarks even at this point is not a good sign.

          Not mention that many in the west underestimate the “disincentives” from such state mandated programs which create opportunities for self-enrichment and complacency.

            they were founded in 2019, and already ahead of intel.

                intel doesn’t have anything worth talking about. it was a joke about how pathetic intel has become.
