Just under 2 weeks after the Coyotes signed Galchenyuk, they’ve placed him on unconditional waivers to terminate his contract.

Completely agree. We’ve seen contracts terminated for less and I would be shocked if any team took the gamble on him after this. I say that as someone who often tried defending him in the past, but in my opinion a line was crossed that can’t be walked back now.

Somehow I doubt it. Did you read the follow-up article of what exactly transpired? Some bleak shit, man. Sounds like he was on a bender with someone, and acted a real fool.
