1,850 per person is… possibly reasonable? If that includes the cost of shelter & administration, that’s not really that absurdly high. I mean, it’s still fucking barbaric and absurd, and the human cost is incalcuable. How much better would these peoples lives be if they spent that cash on in-state facilities & humanitarian programs rather than this ratfuckery?
