tl;dr - Air traffic controller had plane go down a taxiway that had a light pole at 28m from centerline. The 777’s wingspan from centerline is 32.4m
The right-hand wing leading edge suffered a serious dent.
That’s a bit of an understatement, going by the photo.
Weird things in this photo…
- The pole didn’t break away from the base
- The wing didn’t cripple whatever it hit
- The wing was visibly damaged
- Plane not Airbus
