@zbecker@pazukaza@alcasa for me it’s about what containers I’ll most likely be working with so my personal OS knowledge applies to working with those containers. I don’t want to look up the package manager commands when editing a dockerfile. Ubuntu and Debian are pretty ubiquitous. I’ve never seen anything running on an Arch container in an enterprise production environment. Then of course there is Alpine, which I deal with regularly and can’t stand. Also, #regolith on Ubuntu is amazing.
