Why are posts that expressing support and wish towards Monero’s proliferating adoption getting some downvote-bombings in here? Examples:

or this one:

Just started the skepticism thread, and there is an instant -1 downvote on that.

wtf is this? Are we getting brigaded by grudgeful bitfags? Is it the overly-sensitive leftist fediverse dwellers that can’t stand the words like “shock-troops” or “the final solution”? What the hell.

removed can be an offensive term, as its used as a derisive term for homosexuals.

When we are promoting monero for people to use, we should not EXCLUDE ANYONE intentionally or otherwise.

I’d appreciate it if you could use a different term

Are we getting brigaded by grudgeful bitfags?

    haters/misanthropes/anti-crypto fascists are good alternatives

i.e. Are we getting brigaded by grudgeful bitcoin maxis?

From a purely strategic perspective, if you want businesses to adopt digital cash, you have to use language that businesses are not afraid to be associated with.

Monero is independent to the traditional financial system. Not being a second layer solution to them as Bitcoin or Ethereum.

Did you even read the comment before down voting? avoiding exclusive language is a good thing for all of lemmy

I realize you came to this post and down voted every comment, so maybe you were caught by the rhythm.

Though on reflection I suppose you could be bots, but if you are human, I really want to see your defense of calling people slurs on lemmy, please respond with words
