That is EXACTLY how you know Trump’s eyes were glued to the TV for nearly the whole Democratic convention… Some of it is rubbing off on him, to the great dismay of the hate and misery advocates.

I’m not saying your wrong, but he’s also trying to distance himself from project 2025 and is likely aware that his support among (white) women is slipping fast. (IIRC he’s lost women by 13points since Biden dropped out)

At a rally before the DNC he reassured his audience that he did “have a good personality” and “women like me”. So you’ve got the dual stinger that you’re unpopular with women and that they’re likely to be the reason victory is out of reach.

Note: I mention white women because they’re the only marginalized demographic that fucks with Republicans. When they lean Democrat, like they did for Obama, Republicans get cooked.

“Women are the best, folks. Many people say that I hate women but I really don’t. Trust me when I say I love women’s rights. I love their right to dress sexy, I love their right to wear bikinis.”

You joke, but women in Iran are literally dying to get those rights back.

Gross and slimy when Trump says it, but 100% correct and justified when an Iranian protester says it. As usual, context is everything.

slimy, yes, but also insincere when its coming from the figurehead of an organization attempting to strip those rights away from Americans by replacing the Constitution with christian sharia law
