Tony’s Chocolonely can’t even be certain

Tony’s is really fucking good. And because chocolate is 100% a luxury good, I have absolutely no problem reducing my candy bar intake down to one or two expensive chocolate bars per year when I know that they’re doing their best to fairly source their objectively superior product. And I make it last a week or two by using a ziploc bag. Tony’s is best in small doses, and I prefer to pair it with a nice bourbon as dessert, but maybe that’s just me being a bougie removed.

That’s how I treat chocolate as well, but coffee is a lot harder for me to restrict. I buy the fair-tradiest coffee I can find, but I suspect that’s mostly marketing.

I just picked up some “Top of the Morning” coffee and it’s pricey, but the marketing is very cheerful and it ticks the “ethically sourced” boxes for me, as much as anything I buy online can. Plus, it’s tasty.
