I’m cross posting my post here because I think it may be “x-bike” ish. I’ve been lurking this community for a long time but haven’t really had a great option to post here.

    Awesome cargo bike! Brings back a lot of good memories for me.

    Since I have two seats I had to get extra clearance for my ankles – I put a pedal extender on both sides. I also took the foot rests off the kid seats (kids are fine without them)

    I feel like this is a very time limited workaround given how fast kids grow but maybe you teach the front passenger to put their feet in the middle.

    I would kindly suggest seeing if you can make it work without the motor. It’s more work obviously but it has its own rewards.

      It actually just helps from hitting the plastic muddgard on the seat, which prtrudes more forward than their feet. My kids don’t have too much time in the seat, maybe a year or so, so when the seats aren’t there anymore, it will be a non-issue since they can fit in the cargo area with plenty of room.

      I’m pedal powered for now. We’ll see about the motor.
