I’m using a pixel 6 with gapheneos currently. I’m looking for a phone that is fast enough to use osmand without the 5 second lag when it has to render all details. Any advice?

I have a much older phone and don’t have a problem like that, if I zoom out or drag a a big distance I have to wait like half seconds maximum. Maybe you enabled some strange settings? Or you display a lot of gpx trails? I would even contact OsmAnd developers, it sounds like a bug.
No strange settings. It’s not the only phone I know of. I’ve seen a couple which were all slow. No gpx or addons
