Telstra and Optus will delay the planned closure of their 3G networks in order to conduct a final public safety awareness campaign amid concerns that emergency services calls and medical devices could be affected.
I know a few people being bombarded with messages from Telstra and Optus. The Telstra message interrupts every time they make a call. No one is planning on buying a new phone.
The telcos need to explain to people why their phones won’t work. I walk into a shop, they tell me my phone is fine. I ring Optus they tell me it isn’t. 🤷🏽
