• Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf! Volume 8: I’m starting to grow tired of the series. It’s not like it’s doing anything wrong per se, it’s just that I feel like it’s growing stale. A good third of the prose now consists of MC reminiscing about how cute Mariabelle is. Which is all sweet and well, but it’s getting too much for my taste. I wish they kept their growing love’s syrupy sweetness but showed it in actual actions instead of just through MC’s inner monologue.

• Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill: Volume 13: Another series I’m growing tired of. At the end of the last volume I had hoped that the new companion would mix up the party dynamic and get them out of the rut the series has been in, but they missed the opportunity and the new companion is just a carbon copy of Fel. The whole thing felt immediately old.

Currently trying to get through 86 - Eighty Six Vol. 9 AND OH MY GOD IT DRAGS ON. We get it they’re child soldiers who don’t know life. The author has been hammering this point for the past three volumes. It is honestly getting tiring

Mushoku Tensei vol 19,20,21,22

I’ve been really enjoying this series, and didn’t expect that when I first started. The amount of stuff that gets brought back from earlier chapters is amazing and something that kept me going this far.

This has been my first on series and I’m planning on reading more, thinking about starting Sword Art Online, Log Horizon or ReZero.
