I, no joke, was about to post about it. I love it as it’s the perfect mix of Plex and Apple centric design. And not only does it work with cloud storage, but also Plex and NAS, etc.
Agreed I love it and for $10 a year it’s a steal
Finally got it last week to see how it handles Jellyfin and I couldn’t be happier. I avoid subscriptions whenever possible but this one is worth it.

Give Mlem a go when you can (I think the TestFlight is full)! It’s just like Apollo but with lots of little improvements that I would’ve loved in Apollo. And it’s built with all the new Swift UI features rather than having a mix of UIKit and Swift. Although it’s missing a few features while it’s in development that should get added soon

Paid reluctantly for GoodNotes 4. So happy with it, gladly paid full price when GoodNotes 5 came out. Best app ever.
For me, it was Mona for Mastodon.
I used Toot! for a very long time, but seeing a $20 price tag for the app (IAP) turned me off. However, after using the app, there are so many features that make the experience better, that I caved in.
From drafts, UI customization and lists, to customizing how the app works, the app quickly showed its worth to me.
GoPlayAlong - Guitar tab player. Can sync with audio.
Guitar-Pro - for making tab files. Might be able to just use this as it can also sync with audio. However, for quick switching I like GoPlayAlong more
Pixelmator - I do little things with it. I’m no graphic designer but it’s fun to learn and use. I enjoy making my own app icons with it.
iReal Pro. It’s so convenient to have thousands of offline charts on my phone as well as on my computer. Convenient for quick onstage faking on jam sessions. It also has a very well made “band in a box” function for solo practice.
Amazing Slow Downer So nice to have a simple interface for slowing down music audio tracks and looping them to transcribe on paper. As far as I know it’s the only transcription app with Apple Music integration support so you can play music without downloading them
Can tracks be slowed down in garageband as well? I’ve been using it to play back tracks I have separated.

You can definitely do that in Garageband. GarageBand in general is an awesome program for general audio work. For me, Amazing Slow Downer is usually just a convenience to lessen the barrier of practice and it does help alot, especially because I also have it on my phone.
Nice! GoPlayAlong lets me adjust the speed as well. It’s great for practice.
Most recently Reeder 5. I used NetNewsWire for a long time and honestly it’s still a great app that does mostly the same thing, Reeder just looks and feels a bit better.
Things 3 felt pretty expensive when I bought it (you have to pay separately for the iPhone,Mac and iPad apps - no subscription though). Haven’t had any regrets about it since, I hope to be using it for many more years. The app is simple, but has everything I need it to do. I’ve tried so many task management apps and sites but Things works best for me.
Ditto. Things has a notoriously high price point. When 3.0 released, I tried to avoid the $80 all-in cost. Like yourself, I looked at other apps but none met Things’ strength, simplicity and extensibility.
Replacicon is awesome for automatically replacing app icons. IntelliJ IDEA, Firefox (until a recent update) and some other apps had icons that just looked terrible on my dock, and I hated manually replacing the icons after each update.
Infuse, but after +5 years I’m very happy paying for the subscription, the best app for playback media for its price.
100% OmniFocus. I’ll use it constantly for months and then ask myself why I’m paying for it. Then I’ll stop paying for it, switch to Reminders or similar, realize it just isn’t good enough, and start paying for OmniFocus again.
I have paid for Copy’Em ,Find any files,Dropover and Upnote . Each app I paid for is awesome .

Droidcam uses your phone camera as a webcam. Your phone camera is usually pretty good. Now you don’t have to buy a ridiculously overpriced webcam anymore, just some cheap phone holder.
How is the latency? I use continuity camera and its pretty spot on and seamless. Did you compare them?
That’s for Mac, it’s similar. The latency is fine. I just wanted to answer the question because a decent webcam is more than a hundred dollars which is insane to me.
Ulysses for me. The annual subscription price is hard to swallow, but Ulysses has a writing, research and goal setting environment that I haven’t seen another app duplicate.
