I’m low on funds right now, and anything to help with necessities like bills and groceries would be phenomenal. This situation has gotten me to feel really stressed and anxious, but I’m also super excited about my upcoming interview on Monday and many other job prospects.

Unfortunately, my previous job hunting hell I’ve had as a black trans person in Florida has left me a bit pessimistic about this. At the very least, this place is an equal opportunity employer that includes gender identity as a protected class, but I’m all too familiar with performativity to take too much comfort with that.
