Was he ever good? People like him, but I can’t figure out why. All I’ve ever seen in clips is really tepid takes and boring commentary on YT drama.
That’s the appeal to gamer-normies. He repeats back and validates their opinions. He is also less aborhhent than the average gamer opinion dude on YT who is generally even worse.
You’d be surprised just how not being openly a chud or having expressly over the top reactionary takes shapes your image. Back in the day he was just an AVGN-esque vulgar gamer who played and broke old or obscure games. After he showed his face he started to do that less and less and became a drama youtuber lol
He was good when he was making silly gaming videos as a disembodied voice. Had a lot of good will from the fact that he was donating almost all his youtube earnings for years to charity and being ostensibly nice. He’s a not a complete reactionary dipshit, but he’s still a youtube drama channel

I hate to admit that I used to watch his videos back in the day (around 2010) when he only did gameplay commentary videos, before he became a streamer. People liked him because of his dry humor in combination with his monotone voice. He also did some videos in which he’d go onto a random online game, and basically sexually harass the female players as a joke. I remember one of those being a game targeted at young girls. I have no idea if he ever apologized for it, but looking back at it now that was very cringe and disgusting.
A free pass from whom? His fans aren’t going to care, and they’re the only people who would’ve invested in bingus.scam.

i don’t care for critical but the two endorsement videos are sketchy as fuck, a 1 upvote video where the audio obviously does not match his lips, and a twitch clip (which looks legit) but that has him speaking over himself like someone who doesn’t know who to edit audio overlapped the edits, around second 20, idk what to tell youcryptoshit has long been known to fabricate endorsement(see reply)
I’ve also cross-verified the YouTube video - it is actually still on his channel. About the Twitch clip, it is real - in fact, there’s an archive out on YouTube, if you want to cross-verify it. I saw a comment from a victim, and it was removed immediately from YouTube. I kept this burrowed in my head for almost a year.
