I’m really not sure his play. Like even he should realize that directly supporting the guy that has stated multiple times that any transportation outside of big oil is bad, alienating himself from the side that would most likely actually buy his technology due to the “green” aspect of it is insane.
His play is that he’s above money and the law and is desperate for people to laud him. Beyond that, there appears to be some unfortunate drug use and a small host of sycophants that constantly encourage him.
