It’s kind of a work in progress all around the board with comments. You’re going to see a whole lot of improvements there over the next week. Better chains, better auto-scrolling, jumping to next thread, etc. just a pretty big undertaking and we’ve been focusing on a couple other things lately.
Wow, so there’s a complete comments section overhaul in the works! Thank you so much, I can’t wait to see what you’ve got planned for us and the app.
btw since I’ve got your attention here, I just wanted to add that one more aspect of the app that’ll need some updates in the future (please take a nap) is the text composition box. It’s very close to Apollo’s, but you could add some things to make it even better; one of them being clearer separation between the ‘compose’ box and the comment being replied to.
Oh that’s just the beginning. There’s gonna be a lot more this coming week :)
And yea, I agree on that. Just hasn’t been anywhere near a priority. I think Sean and I both are happy we can finally start looking at working on features and QOL stuff. 80 GitHub issues and 70 of them are all feature requests!
Dude…you’re a rockstar, you know that? Seriously, your worth ethic and the quality of what’s coming out is insane, and it’s a large part of why I haven’t been tempted even once to go back to Reddit.
Also, I’m glad to see it’s on the books, just not a priority at the moment (which makes sense). Can’t wait to see it when you get to it!
That was an accident. It’s fixed now.
Thanks! Love the new icon btw, though it’d be nice if we could disable ‘upvote, downvote, save’ icons on comments and posts
EDIT: Line separation doesn’t look as good now as it did in the past, is that a bug?

It’s amazing how much this app has progressed in around a month. It’s seen months of progression in such a short amount of time. Keep it up dude :)
