Hi

Saturday means Parkrun day in many places

I have no parkruns here :( but they are very much what I did like from races: being social, having fun, enjoy being healthy and sharing good moments with people.

Do you go to ParkRun events?

what’s your opinion about this? thank you

(btw this is the official website: https://www.parkrun.com/

I returned to Parkrun last weekend having not been since 2018. It was my 20th run overall and my 3rd course (from now on it will be my “home” course since I’ve moved since 2018). It was under 10 degrees and quite windy with some occasional light rain but very enjoyable and helped me remember what I loved about Parkrun and road running in general. I am not big into the social aspect but always enjoy the competition with myself and the other regulars around my pace. This one seems quite popular with 125 runners despite the weather so I am really looking forward to going this weekend (I’ve actually been thinking about it non-stop since Sunday lol) and improving my time and overall position.
