The three nations of the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) – the UK, Italy, and Japan – have unveiled a new concept model of their next-generation combat aircraft. Set to be in service by 2035, this aircraft will be among the world's most advanced, fighter jets.

      “BAE Systems (UK), Leonardo (Italy), and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (Japan), with additional contributions from companies like Avio Aero, ELT Group, IHI, MBDA, Mitsubishi Electric, and Rolls-Royce.”

      Note, concept and design stage, and hasn’t been funded to be built yet, afaik.

        Yeah, it appears entirely conceptual, but if it gets picked up, we’ll be seeing development for the next decade.

        I’ll be at the Airshow tomorrow so I can check it out further. With BAE UK’s involvement, it feels like a cross between the Eurofighter and the F-35.
