I have this recurring “memory” of the future and one if its “facts” is that African countries are some of the global leaders in technology and space exploration. I type “memory” because it doesn’t feel like a dream or idea. It comes to me as just a fact I am remembering. It has been recurring since the 1980’s and I have never been able to explain why or where it’s come from.

Anyway, I hope that it is indeed a memory of the future and these steps to expand access to education are the beginnings of that future.

I know. I’m assuming it is something like deja-vu where an experience is associated with a feeling of familiarity. This idea is associated with the same feeling along with a type of certainty. They are just chemical triggers, but it is a strange feeling.

I don’t know of it. What is it about?

EDIT: Looked it up. I have seen the “Africa as a tech powerhouse” concept show up in sci-fi lately. The first time I read it, and was shocked by it due to my recurring “memory”, was in an Andy Wier novel IIRC. I have seen it sprinkled around since.
