While I have no issue with women getting birth control if they so choose, I don’t understand why it’s no longer necessary to get birth control pills through your doctor? My understanding, and forgive me if I’m wrong, was that they needed to monitor you for potential negative effects, and it also encourages women to see an OB/GYN for their reproductive health, as opposed to simply letting things go undiagnosed or untreated. BUT, as a penis owner, I may be ignorant to this, and would love a good explanation why this is better than having to go through a doctor.
