When my sibling was still living at home our dad’s girlfriend at the time tried getting them sent to a boarding school in Mexico because they used corporal punishment. Also went through their diary and called their friends parents to inform them she thought they were having a non-hetero relationship with their best friend.

That felt violating. There’s things about me they know that i wanted to keep private, and didn’t plan on telling them because they made that choice to violate my privacy.
