1st panel: One guy is upset and says, “I can’t eat this.”
-
2nd: The other guy is frustrated and responds, “But you said you wanted milk and cereal.”
-
3rd: First guy loudly replies, “You put the cereal in with the milk.”
-
4th: Second guy slams a chair and yells, “What does it matter? It’s all going to the same place!”
-
5th: First guy aggressively affirms, “They need to be separate so that the cereal stays crunchy.”
Explain please. Do you dip a spoonful of cereal in the milk at a time?
There are two options I take. The more simple one is to add a few spoonfuls worth of cereal into the milk and eat that before it gets soggy, then repeat. The more strict method is to have 2 separate bowls: milk and cereal. Get a spoonful of milk, add cereal to that spoonful only, eat, then repeat. I was pretty picky as a child and couldn’t understand how other kids were able to eat soggy cereal.
I was literally the kind of kid who would stir the cereal to make sure it all gets wet and then let it sit for a bit so it got soggy before I ate it.
I never understood why cereal commercials always emphasized how their cereal would stay crunchy. (It was a lie, but I never understood why anyone would want that.) Like what’s the point of even putting it in milk if not to make it soggy? You could just eat the cereal dry and chase it with a glass of milk.
Exactly!
Also very curious about this
Simple explanation. They’re deranged.
Scoop a heaping spoonful of cereal into the milk, and eat over a few bites - less cumbersome than dipping each spoonful, but the cereal doesn’t get soggy fast enough to matter.
And just to be clear: I don’t actually do this, but I seriously thought about it and that was the least deranged process I could come up with 🤷♂️
