About a week now since I joined Lemmy. It seemed to me at first that place like this, where the tech knowledge prerequisites are a little higher than Reddit or Twitter, and being a lot of Reddit refugees, would be a bit of a liberal haven.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against discourse, although these days that is trying at best. But, in the last few days I’ve been running into a lot of bullshit MAGA style nonsense on Lemmy.
And, I gotta say, that’s a bit disappointing.
Interesting because all I seem to find are left wing echo chambers and hate. You guys really do think you’re the majority and it’s laughable.
I just want to take a moment to recognize the fact that you came here, a month late, to comment something fuckin so brilliantly beautiful that it still managed 3 downvote. This is the best. Thanks man.
