    Azov started as a largely Nazi unit but that hasn’t been the case for a while after most members died in defense of Mariupol. Funny how that article glosses over it.

    Good to hear that Azov aren’t Nazis, tho. They do seem to have a funny penchant for black sun patches. What’s with that? Does it stand for something?

      Ah, lemmy being weird and showing a year old post under all I guess.

      It’s a Nazi symbol if you didn’t know, don’t think they are using those anymore. Another fun fact: Wagner group is literally named after a musician because Hitler liked his stuff. They also have a liking for black suns and other Nazi symbols.
