I still feel like total shit, can’t tell if it’s just my allergies or if I should still be blaming the air quality.
I’m feeling a lot better now that it’s rained. My sinuses are still in the gutter, but the coughing and general throat irritation are gone
Air quality is still bad.
So if I’m reading that right, by Wednesday we should be back to normal?
As long as the forecasted wind patterns are correct.
Still not great, but at least it’s not as bad as last week
It could be both. Pollen levels are really high this year.
It probably is a mix of both… my teenaged kid already had seasonal allergies pretty bad this year. once wildfires smoke arrived (we are in Missouri), he developed a cough on top of it. And my eyes sting every day… and even our doggie is sneezing daily now.
Constant smoke feels like allergies. I don’t even have the typical allergies, but back when I lived in the CA Central Valley this would happen every year, and yeah, it made me feel like I had the flu.
I’d never had any sort of breathing issues in my life - no inkling of allergies, asthma, etc… until I got covid in Feb. Ever since, I get some weird shortness of breath & chest tightness. 5 months, still lingering. Unsurprisingly, I suppose, it’s been feeling worse lately. A couple days last week were pretty bad, but it’s improved since then.
I ate a navel orange today and it didn’t taste good. Navel oranges are delicious, so I thought to myself: has my sense of taste been impacted?
Last week here in Southern Ohio at 4pm it looked like a light fog off in the distance. Next day heavier fog. Next day it looked like the clouds were 20 feet above ground level. Coughing sneezing headaches sinus pressure itchy watery eyes and generally breathing felt like there was no oxygen in the air.
After the rains it was much better.
Raining right this minute and other than being muggy it’s much much better! I could rain every day for the next couple weeks and I’d be happy.
