Still finishing up some games, so again a week with little reading time.

• Survival in Another World with My Mistress! Vol. 6 The story remains relatively interesting in general but I really wish the author would get laid already. His thirst is pushing into the narrative since volume 1, but it’s at a point by now where there is little regular plot left. The color insert is also leaving “fan service” fast behind and stepping into hentai territory. The prose has also a very annoying quirk to be too shy about sex while having the MC still fuck his absurd harem every breathing second. The result is that there are stupid phrases like “… the next morning my stamina was at 80%; if you know what I mean”. Constantly. I just want to scream “Yes, we KNOW what you mean! If you’re adult enough to have constant orgies you should be adult enough to say that you had sex!”. But then again, that’s another problem with MC. He’s a typical light novel beta MC with little to no confidence or personal agenda. Of the novels I’m still reading he’s my least-liked MC, and if the premise wasn’t carrying the series it would go into the same bin as Arifureta and Failure Frame. 4/10 unnecessary orgies.
