    Interesting. I know the FIA is getting flack for the penalties and how long it took to implement it. Either the drivers really can’t control their car or they were just hoping the officials would give up enforcing the rules. The commentators made a good point, if the race was wet the drivers would do everything in their power to avoid running off the track to avoid losing grip. Here it’s obvious they were pushing the limits to gain an advantage. Next time keep to the track limits. Those that did this race avoided penalties and moved up some slots.

    As much as I hate to say it, good that they are enforcing track limits. But there should be a better way than this, make it a physical disadvantage to go over the limits, and do away with these post race penalties.

    I feel it takes away part of the entertaining race we saw.

      While watching the race yesterday I thought about a possible solution may be a temporary wall. Something that can be removed for bike races, but can be placed for cars right over the grass and made of tech pro or something safe for the drivers but visually impacting them to want to avoid it. Like the wall of champions in Canada, where the bravest barely rub it. That would be exciting to watch IMO.
