Looking for a notes app. Must have an android client, support mtls, support attachments and card layout.

Only ones that can do that but with limitation are JTX board and nextcloud notes.

NC notes does not support attachments. JTX board is a journal, task first app and counts on icx protocol which have size limitations

Anyways anyone aware of any app that can do that?

ps: pls don’t suggest to save to local storage and sync that.

pls don’t suggest this app that cant do that but its great.

Nope, you seem to be well aware of the options available to you and there isn’t any one single app that meets all of your requirements, so unfortunately we can’t recommend anything at all to you, per your specific request.

You’ll have to build it yourself either from scratch or by taking one of the existing open-source tools and adding the missing functionality.

Looking forward to your pull requests!

I don’t knowvwhat mtls is, but Joplin has mostvof what you want. It does not have card layout native, but there might be a plugin for that.

Yeah I’ve tried that with my webdav mount coz its the obvious thing to do.

Problem is local notes are exposed to other apps and unencrypted.

Apps like neutrinote can protect notes in their app sandbox and create a backup mirror in location of choice e.g. a webdav Mount that happens to be behind mtls.

      Syncthing does not offer mtls.

I’ve been looking around for notes apps with similar criteria with the addition of a portable format (markdown prferably) and, ideally, the ability to add images directly from the camera. I landed on GitJournal and backed it with a self-hosted Forgejo server, but this can be any git server. This has the benefit of requiring an ssh key pair for access

I dont know about mtls, but Obsidian with the Self-Hosted Live Sync community plugin has end to end encrypted sync between any device. There are a ton of plugins to make it capable of doing whatever you want. I have it syncing between Windows, Linux, and Android currently.
