I would agree to this if they didn’t have a literal hasbara program. You have to know the facts before you can twist them.
Some people honestly lack information, but when they actively twist facts for optics, then these people aren’t misinformed, they know and they’re upset the lie is being dismantled.

I’m more referring to the general populace who are not actively countering the narrative, but believe what they are being told. At some point they are going to be forced to confront reality. I’m sure many will bury their head in the sand, but if the general population has believed that IOF is winning the war, and then something definitive happens that completely contradicts that, people will lose their minds.
