Anything that doesn’t conform neatly to their views is bias. My parents were like that when I was growing up; Rush Limbaugh and Focus on the Family all day on the radio, then my dad would watch the evening news and removed about how biased it was. Completely nuts.
It was a calculated attack on media. The point is to seed distrust in consumers of media. Once that happens you can push your own “truth” and you’re not held to any standards. They’re still attacking public funded media in other countries. Don’t play their game and mention an overall bias in the media. It is Fox News that is deliberately bias while old news organizations try to be middle of the road as possible and follow journalism ethics.
