Their failure to provide basic education is how they trap the next generation in the cult. Without a proper education, kids are trapped and it becomes extremely difficult to escape. It’s a feature, not a bug.
And this is why Ron DeSantis and other far right wingers try their damnedest to clamp down on education and books.
Bingo. When people lack education, they lack control over their own destiny. I’ve been saying for years that the GOP derides higher education because they want their voting base trapped and with as few options as possible. This is why they are opposed to quality public education. It’s as clear as day.
I don’t know why anyone would assume a far right authoritarian religion’s schools would provide a decent education rather than just indoctrination…

The occasional Yiddish word or phrase maybe, many of these folks speak Yiddish only. No English. Sort of like the Amish never learning English, except the Amish don’t live in a massive city where English would be really useful.
