Maybe harsh but that’s my opinion right now. My cousin purchased the game, ive only played through remote play but honestly its boring. I have been to several aew events and have the gear to prove it, I wanted to support Aew in this but I just can’t, There is nothing about this that is better than any alternatives we already have. Day 1 dlc , you cant even have a fucking ladder match with more than 2 people. All I have to say is AEW should be ashamed of themselves , though I love their TV program their game SUCKS.

I am a huge AEW fan, but this game simply charged too much for too little. I’m sure it has great potential, but I have been burned so many times on video games that “should get better” that I can’t justify it at its current price.

Sadly you just described the whole AAA gaming industry. I’d say with atleast Fight Forever there’s more casual playtime value.

Played for a few hours and I want to say its perfect but honestly it has some rough edges that need tuning. Gameplay wise I enjoyed it, felt true to the N64 games. The games not bad, actually its incredibly fun most of the time. But it should be $29.99 or something close to that.

Not sure I agree. The only alternative that we have that does what I want it to do is to mod No Mercy, which is generally a hassle and too much of an ask for most people. I think the game is lacking a bit, but the actual gameplay does exactly what I want it to do. It’s much better than the 2K games, for what I’m looking for.

    What games do you like?

Love AEW. Have no desire to play the game. They simply have spread themselves too thin trying to match the size of that other wrestling company too fast.

The video game also feels way more like a money grab to me. AEW was started because of people’s love of pro wrestling and wanting an alternative. The video game launched with day 1 dlc. It is just doing the opposite of what the core of AEW is / was.
