George Russell told his team he wanted to switch to slick tyres even earlier than he did in today's sprint race, and believes they missed a chance to score more points.

Wanted to switch two laps earlier apparently. Maybe would have forced the top few cars to pit as well and we would have had a completely different race.

    I‘m not convinced… Hamilton came out in front of him but got passed as his tyres were cold. 2 laps earlier he would‘ve lost more time on the slicks and possibly not be able to keep heat in.

    Would’ve could’ve should’ve. But didn’t. That’s the name of the game! Pace + strat!
