I recently learned of Molly Lewis, professional whistler, after she was featured on the “404 by LA Times” Instagram account. Fascinated by the idea of a professional whistler, I went and listened to some of her music and it definitely has an Exotica / Tiki vibe to it, especially ‘Oceanic Feeling’ and ‘Balcony for Two’, with slide guitar. Reminds me of the bird and monkey calls in Exotica.
