What will be necessary to make this community as informative as the subreddit? Will there need to be sub-communities for fanart, and strict rules about leaks?
I’m all for more content, but are the subreddit rules easily ported over?

I’d personally love if this was a space where leaks and general discussion could coexist. It was a pain having to be vague when discussing upcoming characters. In a gacha game, I feel that it’s important to be able to plan ahead with where you will spend your limited resources. I’m skipping on the current Luocha banner as I know there are character I want to save for who are coming soon.
However, I’m unsure if and how spoiler tags work with Lemmy. I couldn’t find a way to do it that would work universally. If we can’t spoiler tag for everyone, leaks would be problematic, especially story-related leaks.
Maybe if we can’t figure out spoiler tags, new posts could be marked as ‘spoilers ok’ or ‘spoiler-free’ and then the enforcement would be based on what the post is marked? I’ve seen a few fandom subreddits work like that.
Agreed, I think just marking your post as a Char/story spoiler could be a good start
Agree, I mean, leaks were not allowed not because people didn’t want to plan ahead, but because when some content is finished, we are eagerly waiting what exciting stuff will we have next. This works for both HSR and GI.
Usually the best way to enjoy the content is to esperience it first hand without leaks, because knowing about it a year in advance can kill the hype for some players, and accidentally seeing it without the decision of that particular player can be really devastating for that player’s experience.
