    This is why anti-science shit is such a big deal.

    People ignoring modern medicine is leaving a breeding population for this shit, allowing it to evolve into new versions. Those versions may be more or less harmful.

    But if there’s enough change, then current treatments may become ineffective.

    Especially if the two populations keep rubbing against each other for a long time.

    I was wondering what was up. My city has a skee of billboards showing that sores can be signs of syphilis and encouraging people to be tested.

    Well shit people, if you stop doing practice things to deter illness, then you get to go back to doing the reactive things once you’re sick. Idiots.
