This holocaust survivor and lead human rights advocate is obviously an anti-Semite, because it’s anti-Semitic to believe that the nation state of Israel is engaged in a genocide https://x.com/ZaidJilani/sta/ZaidJilani/status/1790431858842358091

@JordanSchachtel
Define genocide for us
And please stop pretending that your token Jews are representative of Jews, especially ones that work for George Soros.
@JeninYounesEsq
I’m actually not taking a position on whether or not Israel’s actions in Gaza constitute a genocide. I think the question is a bit of a distraction and I am not an international law expert so not equipped to answer it; I’m merely making fun of the claim that it’s antisemitic to take this position.
If I were Jewish, I would be deeply insulted by your insinuation that there is intellectual uniformity on this subject among Jews. I know countless Jewish people who are critical of Israel, to varying degrees, and I know they take issue with the presumption they are required to support any or all of Israel’s actions.
By the way, while my father is Palestinian, my maternal grandfather was a German Jew who was forced to flee Nazi Germany in the 1930’s. I know he would have taken issue with the notion that he could not criticize the Israeli government.
@JordanSchachtel
You are tokenizing fringe Jews to make arguments for you.
And yes, you are speaking from a position of complete ignorance.
Your anecdotes do not accurately capture the widespread (90+%) consensus view among Jews in support of Israel.
Stop playing pretend. Own your position.
@JeninYounesEsq
What’s my position?
@JordanSchachtel
Your position is one of inventing strawman arguments and using props to criticize Israel, and when challenged, claiming ignorance of the nuances.
@JeninYounesEsq
well those aren’t positions, those are tactics (none of which I’m utilizing by the way, but I do recognize the psychological phenomenon of projection when I see it).
My position insofar as it relates to the tweet you take issue with is simple: that accusations of antisemitism are often unfairly wielded to silence and discredit criticism of Israel, which is not a religion but a nation-state.
You are more or less proving my point (albeit surreptitiously) by insisting that there is little or no diversity of opinion among Jews on the subject of the morality of Israel’s actions and accusing me of “tokenizing.”
However, I understand you are just doing your job as a self-described paid pro-Israel propagandist, so who can blame you? (I believe this is you depicted in the video below talking about how you are paid to spread propaganda to manipulate Americans to support Israel?)
So what was the response to the call out with the video proof then?
I don’t know, but I looked at some of the tweets from the person who posted the video and…well, they were pretty gross.
